Noise Awareness Training

Environmental Evaluation can help their clients to comply with the law by offering Noise Awareness Training which, depending on your requirements, can be undertaken off site or at the customers’ own premises.

Supervisors and Managers

This training aims to provide senior personnel with an understanding of the complex nature of noise, their legal duties and to equip them to train their own staff in-house. A typical session would last for one day and would include:

• Introduction and background to sound.
• The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.
• Employer & Employees’ responsibilities
• A review of the company’s noise assessments.
• Noise Action Plan
• Provision of employee noise awareness training programme.

At the end of the session each delegate receives a certificate of attendance and the company is provided with a bespoke in-house noise awareness training CD-ROM.

Employee Noise Awareness Training

If you need us to conduct employee noise awareness training for your organisation we can also provide this service at your site. We try to minimse disruption to your operations as much as possible and we aim to do several sessions during the working day.

This training aims to provide employees with the requird information, instruction and training required under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations. We tailor the training to your organisation and the level of training will depend on the complexity of the issue on your site.  A typical session would last for 20 to 30 minutes and would include:

• Introduction to The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.
• Employer & Employees’ responsibilities
• A review of the company’s noise assessments.
• Hearing Protection selection, use and maintenance.

At the end of the session each delegate receives a certificate of attendance
