Noise Assessment & Control
Environmental Evaluation has specialists in noise assessment in all its UK offices. Our expertise includes workplace and environmental noise measurement, assessment and control.
Our workplace noise specialists are trained occupational hygienists holding qualifications from the British Occupational Hygiene Society’s Faculty of Occupational Hygiene or the Institute of Acoustics: we offer a range of services tailored to our clients’ needs including assessment and measurement with precision sound level meters and dosimetry.
We have assessed occupational noise exposure across a wide range of industries in the UK as well as within specialist fields such as sea-going vessels.
Our noise assessments follow the latest HSE guidance L108 to assist your organisation in complying with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.
Where we identify the need for noise control we can assist in the formation of a noise control action plan and noise awareness training.
We also have extensive experience of assessing environmental noise including measurement in support of Planning Applications, IPPC and Noise Nuisance Investigations.
Our investigations are undertaken with reference to relevant standards and guidance including BS4142 and Policy Guidance Document PPG24 issued by the Department for the Environment, Transport and Regions.
