Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Examination & Testing

Environmental Evaluation has experienced and qualified occupational hygienists, who can undertake thorough examination and testing (TExT) of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems, based in all of our UK offices.

We offer a complete and impartial service to satisfy the requirements of COSHH regulation 9(2) for the thorough examination and testing of LEV Systems.

 

All personnel undertaking LEV TExT hold the BOHS Proficiency Module P601 “Initial appraisal and thorough examination and testing of local exhaust ventilation systems” or higher qualification.

All of our LEV examination and testing services are undertaken in accordance with the latest Health and Safety Executive’s guidance HSG258 “Controlling airborne contaminants at work. A guide to local exhaust ventilation (LEV)”.

Specialist LEV Services

We also provide advisory and design support on new or existing LEV systems, independent evaluation of LEV system designs and commissioning of LEV systems and initial appriasals to verifiy of the efficacy of systems.

Personnel involved in the design support hold either BOHS Proficiency Module P602 “Basic design principles of local exhaust ventilation systems” or higher qualification.

As Environmental Evaluation are completely independent from LEV system manufacturers, installers and servicing companies you can be assured of impartial, cost effective advice.
