Company History

Delph Office

Environmental Evaluation was founded in 1991 by Margaret Parrett, David Miles and Bill Maxwell; all still directors of the company. The company started trading from offices in Delph, Saddleworth near Oldham; the Delph office now has several technical teams operating from three buildings as well as administrative and accounting staff.

A second office was opened in South Mimms with a small team covering the South of England; the team increased in size and relocated to larger premises at Luton in 2003. The Luton office provides a base for asbestos, stack emission testing and occupational hygiene teams as well as administrative support.

Stirling Office

In 2001 an office was opened in Scotland. Initially located in Motherwell the office has since relocated to Stirling, an ideal location to provide cover across Scotland. A second Scotland team has been based at Chapelcross Power Station, near Dumfries since the spring of 2003.

After further growth of the company offices were opened in Halesowen and at Calder Hall Power Station within the Sellafield complex in Cumbria.

Environmental Evaluation's Dublin office opened in 2003.

Dublin Office

In October 2005 Environmental Evaluation acquired the trading name and assets of OEH Group Ltd., a specialist Occupational Hygiene and Environmental Consultancy based in Birmingham. Since then OEH has fully merged with Environmental Evaluation's Halesowen office and the team has relocated to Hockley, Birmingham.

The Cardiff office was opened in August 2009 providing support for clients in South Wales and the South West of England.

The company has staff throughout the UK with expertise in Asbestos Consultancy, Occupational Hygiene, Stack Emissions Monitoring, Contaminated Land, Occupational and Environmental Noise, Health & Safety, Data Management and Training.
